Are you struggling to attract and retain high-quality dental teams?
Kara Kelley is the founder and CEO of Clinical HR LLC, a Human Resources advisory firm for dental and medical practices. She helps dental practice leaders develop strategic HR systems that engage their teams and strengthen their practice.
Kara firmly believes that the dental industry is quickly changing, and flexibility is critical to remain competitive when it comes to talent acquisition. In other words, you're competing with companies that allow remote workers or have flexible schedules, and if you don't offer these benefits, you'll have a much harder time competing in a tight job market.
The good news is that you don't need to break the bank to remain competitive. In her experience, Kara has found that if you offer benefits like health insurance, personal and professional development opportunities, and a sense of purpose, you'll have much higher chances of attracting top talent.
For example, employees on vacation or paid time off often can't afford to do anything. Kara has also found some practices that give their team a stipend to afford a holiday where they can disconnect, and they love it.
However, offering these kinds of benefits is only a part of what it takes to build a highly motivated dental team. If you want to learn more, tune in to this week's episode of 'The Raving Patients Podcast!'
Kara joins me to share her insights on attracting and retaining top talent in the dental industry.
